ELIZABETHTOWN, KY—adventfs.com, a leading provider of technology solutions for local government, has released the Winter 2018 version of Advent eLearning, the company’s platform for delivery of evidenced-based online education programs for the criminal justice system.
The Advent eLearning platform currently hosts over 15 online course programs used by prosecutors, community supervisors, and court administrators for misdemeanor diversions/deferrals, probation programs and sanction applications. The platform gives agency users a powerful central portal to assign online courses and track the progress of students throughout the process.
The Winter 2018 release now includes full functionality for probation monitoring, allowing Advent clients to monitor and supervise additional conditions often tied to diversion or deferred adjudication, including:
• Adding multiple assignments to a supervised case, including evaluations, screenings and classroom programs conducted by third-party providers.
• Payment acceptance and processing of assignment and supervision fees, as well as any restitution required as part of the case.
• Online management of court orders and supervision agreements.
• Full notification, outbound messaging, and reporting of case assignments to keep all parties on track for successful program completion.
The new Probation Monitoring functionality builds on the existing Restorative Justice features of the Advent eLearning platform that includes Community Service Management, Auto Insurance Monitoring, and restitution payment processing.
The Winter 2018 release of the platform went into production on December 31st of 2018 and is now available for use by any Advent eLearning client.
